Frames are fixed dimension element in Figma. Other elements like Groups are allowed to dynamically resize based on their contents.
The plugin uses top-level frames to set the fixed dimensions of the video export.
Create your frames
Select the frame drawing tool from the top left of the screen and draw your first top-level frame on the canvas in the dimensions you'd like your video to render. Duplicate the frame as many times as needed to create the frames to hold your animation.
Confirm your frames were created directly on the canvas by opening the layer panel on the left. Your frames should have bold text and be sitting directly on the canvas.

Add design elements to each frame
Add shapes and other elements to your frames to create the design.
See related Figma design file for the specific design elements used to create this animation.
