5. Add instances to single frame

To render the design, we'll need to create a new top-level frame and add an instance of each interactive component, which we'll group by scene. Follow the steps below

#️⃣ Create a new frame & apply a flow starting point

Set dimensions equal to desired resolution of the export (520x520). Add a flow starting point.

🎬 Create the first scene

Add instances & arrange to match original design

Hold down the Alt/Option key and drag a "shown" variant from each interactive component onto the frame. Arrange the elements to match the original design.

Group elements in the layer panel

Group all elements in the scene to keep the layers separated from the screen wipe and other scenes. We recommend you also group the text & supporting graphics elements together for readability.

Set instances to hidden variant

Select the main text elements, logo element, and computer element and toggle the "Show" variant property to off position in design panel. For the star elements, set to the "Default" variant, which is the first "hidden" variant in both component sets. This stars the animation with the instances hidden before transitioning onto the screen.

Add screen wipe instance as top layer

Hold down the Alt/Option key and drag the visible screen wipe variant into the frame to create a linked instance. Set position identical to frame, then toggle the "Show" variant property to the off position to hide the element at the start of the animation.

Confirm screen wipe element is the top layer in the layer panel on the left.

🔃 Repeat process for remaining scenes

When completed, the layer panel and canvas will look like below. The main text and supporting graphics groups are each holding the individual instances for each scene.

Make sure that each instance's variant property is set to hidden once it's been added and properly arranged, and that the screen wipe layer is placed between scene groups.
