To provide a seamless authentication experience, we connect your Figma account to our plugin using the Figma ID and email address related to your Figma account, which we need your permission to access via Figma's REST API when upgrading to pro or signing into your account on the website (see the screenshot above).

Unfortunately, Figma only provides one set of overly broad permissions for this API that require you to also grant us temporary access to a broad set of your Figma resources that we don't need or use, including your projects, design files, comments and components.

For the avoidance of doubt, we want to clearly state that we only access your name, email, and Figma ID during this process for the purposes of connecting your Figma account to our plugin.
