We don't currently support embedded GIFs/Videos with transparent backgrounds. This is due to limits with our demuxer and the video codec Figma uses in their design environment.
⚠️ Results if attempt
If you attempt to export an embedded GIF/Video with a transparent background, it will produce an overlapping effect like in the image below.

🔧 How to fix
We recommend adding a solid background to the GIF file with the tool you used to create the original GIF file.
