Reduce export resolution on canvas or with plugin presets

Check whether you're exporting at a higher resolution than is needed for your use case. If so, you can reduce the rendered dimensions either directly on the canvas or by selecting one of the plugin's resolution presets to do it automatically during export.

Directly on canvas

Select your top-level frames and resize to desired dimensions. Make sure that scaling is set on all child elements so they maintain proportion as dimensions reduced.

Using plugin's resolution presets

We offer two options for changing the resolution of your design at export:

1. Fixed: Scale to a specific resolution between 64px and 2160px; sets the longest side of design to the selected number of pixels and adjust the shorter side to retain proportions.

2. Relative: Scales resolution relative to dimensions on the canvas. To retain the original resolution of your design, select the 1x option (default).
